Too Much

When I was younger I set many goals for myself. One goal I developed involved being open-minded and welcoming new experiences. One of my “experiences” influenced my life more than I could have anticipated. I joined the wrestling team. Joining the wrestling team was the most horrifying, yet important, experience of my life. If you asked me what it meant to be violated, I’d tell you to join the wrestling team. When I was younger I was quite the coward. Unaccustomed to confrontation of any kind, I shook with fear thinking I would succumb to fighting. Wrestling, in my mind, was just another form of fighting. It was also something I never felt the need to experience. Knowing it was important to be open-minded to new experiences, I joined the wrestling team....For the complete essay, Click here.


Even Vampires Tie Their Shoes
Have you ever seen a movie or read a vampire book where the vampire has to stop everything and tie their shoe when it has come undone? In truth, it probably does not happen to the big shot vampires we all know of, like Dracula and Lestat. But the truth is, those vampires are fictional and the real vampires are as clumsy and dull witted as the rest of the population. See, vampires are real, but they aren’t all powerful and beings of immense metaphysical capabilities. Vampires are in fact LIVING, breathing humans.... For the complete essay, Click here.
